Dear Friend of the Wilton Singers:
The Wilton Singers begins its 27th season with a trip to the movies, and our upcoming Fall Concert on November 6th and 7th will have you shouting, "Hooray for Hollywood!" Since the Wilton Singers was established in 1983, it has operated almost entirely on income generated by ticket sales. In recent years it has become increasingly difficult to survive on ticket sales alone. Despite all our efforts to be fiscally conservative, we find it harder than ever to produce high-quality programs and continue to offer our annual Wilton Singer Scholarship Awards to deserving, talented Wilton High School choral students.
Your past support of our group through attendance at our shows is appreciated more than we can express, but today we find it necessary to ask for your additional support. We are asking you to consider participation in a new fundraising effort.
We propose the following, but please note your support will be most welcome at any level:
- Platinum - $1,000 and above
- Benefactor - $500 to 999
- Director's Circle - $250-499
- Patron - $100-249
- Sponsor - $50-99
- Chorister - contributions up to $49
Your sponsorship will include recognition in our 2009-2010 season programs, and special recognition on our website.
We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization so your generous donation is also tax deductible. Please check with your employer to see if they provide matching funds.
